During a massive incoming tide, hundreds of Hake fish migrate through a narrow passage. The currents are brutal, twisting, surging, and dragging the fish in every direction. Many get caught in violent upwellings and shoot toward the surface too fast. The gases inside them expand, their air bladders over-inflate, and suddenly… they’re floating helplessly at the top where hungry eagles eagerly scoop them up. This is the first time I’ve seen one bird snatch 2 fish from the surface and in spite of i
